About the Spartan Diet

 

The Spartan Diet is the healthiest diet in history.

Informed by ancient practices, new science and nine years of development, the Spartan Diet is not another weight-loss plan or fitness fad, but a revolution in healthy living.

The Spartan Diet was created by Amira Elgan, who is co-authoring a book of the same name. 

Amira Elgan is a board-certified holistic health counselor and healthy lifestyle coach accredited by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners; a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition; and certificated in Integrative Nutrition from Teachers College, Columbia University.

As a healthy living coach, Amira has developed a comprehensive Spartan Diet program aimed at helping people transform their lives.

Amira also serves as a restaurant consultant. She has written columns for the Organic Network, Green Living Magazine and articles for the Environmental Living web site. 

She has taught healthy cooking classes for Whole Foods Market Culinary Centers and the Sur La Table Culinary Program.

Amira has created innovative, healthy recipes for more than 20 years. She is also a fitness expert with a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
